Two major UK trials have provided robust evidence that artificial intelligence can significantly improve breast cancer screening outcomes whilst substantially reducing radiologist workload

The MIA (Mammography Intelligent Assessment) AI trial found the use of AI could increase detection of disease by 10.4% compared to standard human-only review.
