Alcohol advertising ban ruled out despite calls from public health experts

A ban on alcohol advertising has been ruled out by the government, despite public health doctors saying that it “plays a huge role in influencing drinking habits”.

However, the Department of Health and Social Care said it was “exploring options for partial restrictions”.
