Axing free tea and coffee in hospital ‘short-sighted’, says doctors’ group

A hospital trust’s decision to stop providing staff with free tea, coffee and milk to save money is a “slap in the face” for hardworking NHS employees, a doctors’ group has warned.

University Hospital Southampton (UHS) NHS Foundation Trust has said that it is withdrawing free supplies to save £50,000 a year.
