Barred doctor jailed for fraud watched TV show to keep up his skills

A struck-off doctor told a tribunal in his licence restoration hearing that he had kept up his skills by watching ‘GPs Behind Closed Doors’.

Dr Collen Nkomo was struck off the medical register in January 2019 after failing to inform the General Medical Council that he had been convicted for fraud and driving offences without delay.
