BMA announces escalation in GP collective action

GPs are set to “remove or ignore” medicines optimisation software they are not contractually obliged to use as the next stage of collective action, the British Medical Association has revealed.

The union’s general practitioners committee for England (GPCE) announced the latest escalation to their dispute with the government will start from 1 June.
