BMA confirms it is preparing to extend strike mandate

Following the end of a strike by doctors in training in England on Tuesday, the BMA said it was preparing to extend its mandate for industrial action.

Doctors finished a six-day walk out at 07:00 on Tuesday - the longest in the history of the health service.
