BMA re-enters dispute with government over ‘unsafe’ GP online access rules

The British Medical Association has re-entered dispute with the government over “unsafe” new online consultation rules.

The union’s general practice committee (GPC) in England has warned the government that there is no additional workforce to manage unlimited urgent and non-urgent online consultation requests for GP appointments between 8am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
