BMA to support doctor group’s legal challenge against GMC over PAs

The British Medical Association has announced it will financially support a doctor campaign group’s legal challenge against the General Medical Council over its plans for regulating physician and anaesthesia associates.

Anaesthetists United (AU) has claimed the GMC is acting “unlawfully” in how it plans to regulate AAs and PAs.
