Breakthrough breath test to detect pancreatic cancer to be trialled across the UK

An innovative breath test to detect pancreatic cancer will be trialled in 6,000 NHS patients at 40 hospitalsacross the UK.

The large study has been given the go ahead after £1.1 million funding from Pancreatic Cancer UK who said it was the most “significant” breakthrough in the condition in 50 years.
