Call for improved profile for SAS surgeons

The NHS would benefit from improved involvement of Specialty and Associate Specialist surgeons, a new report stated last night.

The Royal College of Surgeons of England says there is a lack of planning for "how best to draw on the skill set of the SAS surgeons".
