The NHS should “be cautious about the biomedical approach” to tackling obesity, MPs have heard.
Professor Sir Anthony Everington, a GP and former chairman at Tower Hamlets Clinical Commissioning Group, told the Health and Social Care Committee (HSCC) that the long-term effects of weight-loss jabs are unknown, and we should instead focus on a “personalised approach”.
