Champagne and fruit consumption can protect against cardiac arrest, study suggests

Improving lifestyle, psychosocial and socioeconomic factors could prevent up to 63% of sudden cardiac arrests, according to a study using data from the UK Biobank.

Researchers found that a protective effect was most strongly associated with higher consumption of champagne and/or white wine, and fruit intake.
