Cold air reduces croup symptoms in children

Exposure to outdoor cold air reduces the severity of croup symptoms in children, a Swiss study has found.

Researchers at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and the University of Geneva (UNIGE) say their findings from a small study of 118 children “represents a valuable first recommendation for parents who can then apply this measure at home”.
