'Dearly loved’ GP dies in paddleboarding incident

A GP who died in a paddleboarding incident has been described as a “well-loved colleague and friend who was devoted to the care” of her patients.

Dr Julia Hamilton was a senior partner at White Friars Green Practice in Perth, Scotland. The surgery said her tragic sudden death happened on Friday 31 May while paddleboarding on the River Spey.
