Doctor convicted of headbutting waiter suspended for 12 months

A senior doctor who headbutted a waiter while drunk on a night out has been suspended for a year by a medical tribunal.

Dr Nganjo Endeley was found guilty of assault causing actual bodily harm by Newcastle Crown Court in 2024.
