Doctor rejects claims ‘he changed his mind’ over cause of death of Letby victims

A doctor has said claims he has changed his mind over the cause of death for three of Lucy Letby’s victims are “unsubstantiated” and “inaccurate”.

It is understood that retired consultant paediatrician Dr Dewi Evans has filed a detailed report about one of Letby’s victims, Child C – a baby boy who died in June 2025, which he says “clarifies the situation both with regard to the time of Letby’s murderous assault and the cause of the baby’s death”.
