A GP who spent an Easter weekend tackling a massive backlog of patient records to an extremely tight deadline has successfully overturned her suspension for dishonesty after errors were discovered.

Dr Sarah Alam spent the holiday working into the small hours of the morning, examining thousands of patients’ notes to meet the due date for submitting data under the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) scheme.
