Doctors cancel shifts over non-contractual rate cuts

Cuts to non-contractual pay rates at a hospital in Northamptonshire have been deferred after doctors cancelled shifts in protest.

Leaders at Kettering General Hospital had planned to “standardise” hourly pay rates from 2 April. It is understood pay for some roles would have been cut by 27%.
