Doctors' pay 2026: What you need to know about the DDRB award and strike

The annual report which recommends pay increases for doctors across the UK has already been published and accepted by the UK government.

As the 3.5% pay uplift was announced by the Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration Body (DDRB), the British Medical Association (BMA) was quick out of the gates – calling it a “crushing blow” to NHS doctors.
