Doctors struggling to care for mental health patients, warns BMA

Doctors in general practice, community mental health services and emergency medicine are “too overstretched” to work effectively together to support mental health patients, the British Medical Association has warned.

The union has produced a report [PDF] using doctor interviews and data to highlight the issues within the mental health services.
