Doctors to get more training on ME/CFS under government plan to improve care

Doctors and medical students will be offered more training on myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome under plans set out by the government to improve care for people with the condition.

The final ME/CFS delivery plan, which was first commissioned in 2022, said many children and adults with the condition do not feel they have been believed and that professionals do not always “fully acknowledge or understand” the impact on their daily lives.
