Donor skin flaps used as 'early warning system' for lung transplant rejection - trial

Patients who are given lung transplants are to be given “skin flaps” from their donor to help doctors identify organ rejection.

A new trial is looking at whether these skin atches can be used as an “early warning system” to identify lung rejection.
