Earlier recognition needed for patients approaching end of life, RCP says

Doctors’ leaders are calling for earlier recognition of when someone is approaching the end of their life to support "open conversations" and care planning.

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has said there should be a public campaign on end-of-life care and a national strategy on how such care can be delivered.
