Eight out of ten patients hear back from GP surgery on same day – survey

Almost eight in ten (78%) patients in England who contacted their GP surgery heard back from them on the same day, according to data from the Office for National Statistics.

A total of 4% of patients were unable to make contact at all, and one in ten (11%) had to wait 2 days or more.
