Endometriosis linked to small rise in birth defects

Babies of women with endometriosis have a small but significant increase in the risk of congenital anomalies, according to a large population-based study in Canada.

Endometriosis is already known to be associated with infertility and complications in pregnancy, but its relationship with birth defects has been less clear.
