Fewer than half of adults taking up NHS shingles vaccine, experts warn

Fewer than half of adults are taking up their NHS shingles vaccine, new data reveals.

Figures from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) shows that 42.1% of those turning age 66, who had been eligible since their 65th birthday, had received their first dose of the Shingrix vaccine by October 2025.
