Final year medical students 'driven into poverty' by loan drop, BMA warns

Medical students in England are being "driven further into poverty" during their final year of training due to a cut in student loan support, the British Medical Association has warned.

Students finishing their courses face a "financial drought" in summer as their funds run out, the union said.
