First combination pill for endometriosis approved by NICE

A new treatment is set to “transform” how endometriosis is managed, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has said.

In its final draft guidance, NICE has recommended relugolix–estradiol–norethisterone (also known as relugolix combination therapy or Ryeqo) for routine NHS use in England – the first long-term daily pill licenced for the condition.
