Four-year-old's death prompts national safety review of hospital crash trolleys

A coroner has issued an urgent safety warning to every health board in Wales after a critical delay in finding adrenaline during the attempted resuscitation of a four-year-old girl who later died.

The hold-up in locating the life-saving drug for Summer Rae Mant was “likely” due to the fact that there is no standardised crash trolley, warned Rachel Knight, coroner for South Wales Central.
