Health experts have questioned how the NHS is going to afford increased medicine prices estimated to cost an extra £3 billion a year after the US-UK drug pricing deal – with one urging it will mean less money for doctors.

The government, pharmaceutical companies and charities welcomed the agreement for offering faster access to innovative treatments.
