General practice will see global sum rise by ‘at least 6%’

General practice teams will see the global sum uplifted “by at least 6%” in 2024/25, NHS England has confirmed.

It follows the recommendations of the doctors’ and dentists’ remuneration (DDRB) to uplift the pay elements of the practice contract for salaried and contractor GPs by 6% (a further 4.1% in addition to the 1.9% already included in contract funding announced in April).
