GMC ‘strongly rejects’ threat of legal action over physician associates

There are no grounds for legal proceedings over the plans to regulate physician associates and anaesthesia associates, the General Medical Council has told the British Medical Association.

A week ago, the BMA announced it had decided to launch legal action against the doctor regulator over how it intends to regulate PAs and AAs, which it will start doing from December.
