GMC welcomes government commitment to reform healthcare regulation

The medical regulator has welcomed a commitment from the government to prioritise the reform of the UK’s healthcare professional regulation.

It follows an announcement that new legislation will be brought in during this Parliament to tighten the use of the title ‘nurse’.
