Government plans to give doctors 2.8% pay rise

Doctors are to get a 2.8% pay rise for 2025/26 under government plans.

The Department of Health and Social Care said this was a “reasonable amount” to have set aside given the economic forecasts, in its written recommendations to the NHS Pay Review Body and the Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration Board remit groups.
