Government sets out boost to mental health care under NHS 10 Year Plan

The government has said it will build 85 new mental health emergency departments across England to improve access to care.

Staffed by specialist teams and open 24-hours, 7 days a week, patients will be able to walk in or be referred by their GP to get help, health secretary Wes Streeting announced.
