GP consultations for flu-like illness still above seasonal average

Consultations in GP surgeries for influenza-like illnesses (ILI) are still above the seasonal average, despite a drop off from the peak of this flu season.

The latest figures [pdf] from the Royal College of General Practitioners Research and Surveillance Centre (RCGP RSC), which go up to week 3, indicate a 54.6% fall in acute respiratory infections across England compared to week 2.
