A GP practice has told its patients it “cannot work any harder” and it may not “always offer the same level of service” because of financial pressures and reduced staffing.

Winchcombe Medical Centre, near Cheltenham, has written to its 8,000 patients to "be honest” about the changes it is having to make to cope with the impact of a funding shortfall and lengthy hospital waiting lists.
