GP practices to routinely ask women about menopause in NHS health checks

Women will be asked routinely for the first time about the menopause during NHS health checks carried out by GP practices, officials have announced.

Including questions about the menopause could benefit millions of women by raising awareness about symptoms and giving them confidence to seek help, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said.
