GP practices urged to support individuals being released early from prison

NHS England is calling on the support of general practices to ensure continuity of care for people who will be released from prison under the Ministry of Justice measure to relieve capacity pressures.

Those eligible for this initiative will be released from prisons across England from 10 September to 22 October 2024.
