GP urges government to include ‘underserved’ prison population in 10-Year Health Plan

A GP has called for prison healthcare to be featured in the government’s upcoming 10-Year Health Plan, saying “everyone is entitled to healthcare".

Dr Bethan Roberts has talked to Doctors.net.uk about her role as a prison GP, delivering healthcare for what she described as “such an underserved population” across various institutions in England and Wales.
