GPs can continue to campaign for local change after contract deal – BMA

National collective action by GPs has been halted after the British Medical Association backed changes to the contract for this year – but GPs can continue to campaign locally.

The acceptance of the 2025/26 contract last week means that the BMA is “no longer in dispute with the government and NHS England,” the union said.
