GPs 'deeply disappointed' by 6% pay uplift

The Review Body on Doctors' and Dentists' Remuneration has recommended a 6% pay uplift for salaried and contractor GPs for 2024/25, but GP leaders warn funding still remains far below what is needed.

The DDRB’s advice - an annual recommendation on pay uplifts for consultants, SAS and locally employed doctors, salaried and contractor GPs, and doctors in training - was immediately accepted in full by the Westminster government.
