GPs must triage patients before they see a PA – RCGP guidance

Patients must not be seen by a physician associate unless they have been triaged by a GP, new guidance suggests.

It is one of a number of principles set out by The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) in its scope of practice document for the PA role in primary care.
