GPs say more investment needed to turn around MMR uptake in some areas

Practices in deprived areas need more support and investment to reach those who have refused vaccination for their children, doctors working in areas with measles outbreaks have warned.

Figures up to the end of the December show there had been 1603 notifications of possible cases in 2023 compared with 735 in the previous year.
