GPs should consider asking some patients about gambling habits, NICE recommends

It has been recommended that GPs should consider asking their patients about gambling habits, when asking them about smoking, alcohol or drug use.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence made the recommendation in new guidance on identifying, assessing and managing gambling-related harms.
