Gynaecologist who removed women’s ovaries without consent still practising on NHS

A consultant gynaecologist continues to work for an NHS trust despite a medical tribunal finding he removed ovaries from two patients without obtaining their consent.

Dr Ali Shokouh-Amiri was given a warning at a Medical Practitioners Tribunal earlier this year, after it found 24 out of more than 100 allegations of inappropriate behaviour were proven.
