Home testing devices for sleep apnoea get NICE approval

New home-testing devices to diagnose sleep apnoea have been recommended for use on the NHS by the health spending watchdog.

In draft guidance, the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence has recommended five devices to diagnose and assess the severity of obstructive sleep apnoea hypopnoea syndrome (OSAHS).
