Hospital shuts 50-year-old swimming pool opened as a 'thank you' to staff

A swimming pool for NHS staff at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham will not reopen in the new year due to "significant safety and building risks", according to a BBC article.

The Morris Sports Centre pool was built with donations over 50 years ago as a thank-you to staff.
