Hospital trusts put on BMA’s ‘naughty list’ for failing to pay backpay on time

The British Medical Association has put some hospital trusts on a “naughty list” for not paying resident doctors backpay a month after the agreed date.

The BMA negotiated with trusts across England that any backpay associated with the government’s improved pay offer, accepted in September, would be paid on November’s pay day.
