HRT does not affect dementia risk, major review concludes

There is “no evidence” that hormone replacement therapy can increase or reduce the risk of dementia, according to a very large review of evidence to date.

The study analysed data from more than one million women from five countries and found no link between HRT use and cognitive decline.
